Tech Tip Tuesday: Incident IQ

Dear WSD Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that Facilities or Custodial requests can now be made through an Incident IQ ticket. Incident IQ (IIQ) is a simple and efficient platform for teachers to request IT help, training, and facility support. With just a few clicks, you can submit a ticket, track its progress, and get issues resolved quickly—keeping your classroom running smoothly.

Tech Tip Tuesday: Incident IQ

Tips for Submitting a Ticket

• Be specific about the issue.
• Attach screenshots or photos if relevant.
• Check for updates and respond to IT inquiries.

Submitting a Ticket: 

Step 1: Log in to Incident IQ

  1. Click the WSD Help Desk logo on your desktop or go to you https://weber.incidentiq.com.

  2. Click Sign in with Google.

Step 2: Create a New Ticket

  1. Click "New Ticket".

  2. Select the issue category:

    • Technology (Chromebooks, projectors, software, etc.)

    • Facilities (HVAC, lighting, furniture, etc.)

    • Other (Password resets, account issues, etc.)

Step 3: Describe the Issue

  1. Select the affected device or service. If it's a district-issued device, choose it from the list.

  2. Enter a brief subject line. Example: "Classroom Projector Not Turning On."

  3. Provide a detailed description:

    • What is happening? (Example: The projector turns on but does not display an image.)

    • When did the issue start?

    • Any troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

  4. Upload images or files (optional).

Step 4: Select Location

  1. Enter your location. Select your school, room number, or department to help IT staff locate the issue.

Step 5: Submit the Ticket

  1. Review the information for accuracy.

  2. Click "Submit" to send the request.

Step 6: Track Your Ticket

  1. Go to "My Tickets" to track progress.

  2. Respond promptly if additional details are needed.
