Diving in and Digging Deep

If you're one of the 83% of WSD teachers that have taken time to jump into our new student and teacher facing AI platform—SchoolAI—consider taking the time to take the next step and achieve your Level 1 and Level 2 School AI Certified Educator badges! Click this link to access the course. Unlike other edtech platforms that have teachers go through an extensive amount of coursework or take a summative exam, the SchoolAI Certified Educator course is concise and informative!

platform

The Level 1 Certified Educator course is made of five quick sections. It takes less than hourto work through the whole thing! If you've been waiting to jump in until you can learn more, now is the time! After some brief and helpful tutorials and lessons, any teacher could walk away with tools and background knowledge necessary to start streamlining their work and providing students with creative and new learning opportunities! Furthermore, if the Level 1 course wasn't enough for you, teachers also have the ability to extend and complete the Level 2 course, which is also brief and full of helpful resources. Don't forget to claim your badge at the end and throw it into your email signature to show off what you accomplished!

Bonus Tip: STEM Action Center AI Introductions and Implementations—LAST CHANCE TO APPLY

Are you the teacher looking to take the next step with generative artificial intelligence? Have you seen what your colleagues do with tools like SchoolAI and want to know how they did that? Maybe you see yourself leveraging this kind of technology in the future, but haven't taken the time to dive in because you want to make sure you have a firm grasp on this new tool. If any of that describes you, the STEM Action Center has the perfect opportunity for you!

The Utah STEM Action Center and Utah State Board of Education are working together with this new professional learning offering, titled AI Introductions, and Implementation, which has been designed to help educators use AI in their classrooms to better meet educator and student needs.

Over the course of your participation, you will receive two days of instruction, virtual coaching, and create a lesson/unit plan that implements AI that you will then share with others at a state conference.  There are three cohort schedules for you to choose from.

All of the details about this incredible professional learning opportunity can be found in the application found here at this link. The application will close TOMORROW, so if this sounds at all like something you would be interested in, be sure to take the time to apply TODAY!

We can't wait to hear what you think of these awesome certification courses. With an astonishing majority of teachers in our district already leveraging SchoolAI, the potential that it has to help teachers and enrich the educational experience for students is clear.
